Put some aluminum foil around the base of the plant. This will keep them from getting in them cause cats hate the feel of aluminum foil on their paws and this will not hurt the plants. I had to do this with a few of my plants. Eventually the cats left them alone and then I could remove the foil. Hope this works.

I would say get rid of the plants b/c even if you put the plants in a higher position somewhere else you know their still going to get in the plants no matter what. Or maybe you could just get something for your plants that makes the cats not wanting to get in the plants.

Get rid of the plants and change the location of the litter box, also think about changing the kind of litter your using.

No potpourri. It's toxic to cats and mothballs are toxic to plants. I tell my clients to use aquarium gravel or stones. You can still water the plant and the texture usually discourages the cat

i had this problem...my cat killed my lovely rose! I placed a really large rock in there so she doesnt have enuf room to get her butt in there and make a mess....has worked!! You can also go to pet stores and they sell products that are safe for plants but that cats hate the smell, and they are designed to keep them away. Theres a brand called "get off my garden"

I don't think he will ever stop.. like someone said it is his nature..however I used the squirt bottle method to condition my cat Boomer to stop doing it. He mostly did but never completely.
