Try and find food that isn't too messy or sloppy on one's fingers. (Look at your keyboards at the end of the day) Think smoothies, protien shakes go tword the healthy side so you can apeal to everyone.

Is funny, because your place sounds just like a family business we used to have...
Two recommendations: 1. Fried Chicken... easy, cheap (for you and for the costumer with a good profit) and it will diverse your menu... everybody likes chicken, so make it cowboy style... with tortilla chips, jalapeños and fried beans in one option, and with french fries and sweet plantain in option two.
2. Extend your building just a little or separate a medium section... add a lot of color, put some nice music and offer ice creams, milkshakes and Coffey.
You know, when asking "what do you wanna eat" people immediately goes: or fast food like what you already have or chicken... and after a meal, the most popular options are an ice cream for dessert or a Coffey to settle down the food and have a nice talk...!
Good luck and great sales!

I would think about doing some kind of market research. What type of food do the locals like? Carribean, Indian, Chinese, Italian?
Why not do a survey on this? Ask your existing customers what food they would like.

A big clue could be what other local food shops are serving up. Why not copy them? Hey, The thought of a hotdog with onions, mustard and tomato sauce is making me feel peckish :)

My fav food would be:

Fried Fish (Hake, makerel, cod, herring. Any fish)
King Prawn fried in batter (like chinese do - expensive but nice)
Rice - a very cheap & filling food
Fried Dumplings (again very filling & cheap to do)
Baked Potatoes - easy to microwave and splash on some tasty butter / sauce

Your place sounds nice, good luck

i'll supply some sturdy rationalization why they don't promote both continually. a million) imagine of the learning it would want to take to get everybody to understand the breakfast/lunch sign up and the breakfast/lunch grill. conversing from adventure, its no longer not straightforward to study it, yet after we do changeover and are doing orders for both, its very demanding and annoying and confusing on the crew. 2) The "line" the position nutrients is made, lunch nutrients takes the comprehensive line to make, breakfast makes use of the authentic of it. it would want to be complicated to make both breakfast and lunch nutrients on an analogous order because of how the line is determined up. 3) convinced, they could get a device that would want to placed breakfast meals on one part and lunch meals on the different part (the "line" has 2 sides, each part are open throughout the time of height classes). this can be severe priced in spite of the reality that, and particular to have many issues because it would want to be a sparkling and un-tried device. The device on the shop we've is a few years previous and we are nevertheless operating the kinks out of it. 4) back, the guy means it would want to take to operate the shop in case you bought both. The sales would not truly make it properly worth it. 5) the biggest reason of all: the temperatures mandatory to cook dinner the nutrients are diverse. There are not sufficient grills contained in the shops to verify the nutrients might want to be cooked on the right temperature. Plus it would want to gradual issues down plenty because we are able to not cook dinner issues after different issues were cooked because it ends up in an infection, which may make people unwell. you truly would not want undercooked eggs because the grills are not warm sufficient to cook dinner them. Nor might want to you want over-cooked meat because the grills were too warm from the egg placing. Plus what takes position once you get someone allergic to eggs and the burger they're ingesting has been cooked proper after a round of eggs? convinced, you may want to upload more desirable grills, make the shops higher, practice people on each thing, and artwork by issues in a sparkling device, yet what position is going to placed the money into that? no longer many. There are different rationalization why an area would not promote both, besides the undeniable fact that the 5 i discussed might want to offer sturdy sufficient reason as to why a company would not bypass by the hassel.

Sell Churros! hot chocolate! also try chocolate covered espresso beans, chocolate covered rasins. My friend and I search everywhere for espresson beans in some nice chocolate-trust me you would sell a LOT! and also try: hot pretzels, FRENCH FRIES (made yourself, they would taste REALLY good), and maybe like some packs of gum?
