Mc Afee employees need not answer

As a computer tech I see problems with Mc Afee fairly often, mostly with the install. They do have a huge footprint, meaning that they take up a very large piece of your system resources.
So does Norton. They each maintain as many as 5 fulltime connections to the web, hogging your bandwidth.

Also, if you go to McAfees web site they bug you with pop-ups and ads worse that a gambling site. I was an employee there MANY years ago, but I think they have lost focus.

I use PCCillan from TrendMicro.com on my 6 computers and have had no problems for several years. It uses very little of your system resource, and does a great job.
