The word "Beer" says it all. Mentioning the word makes my mouth water and brings up wonderful memories (and areas of my life that I cannot remember). Using a word that can be used to describe other things (like "great" for sex, golf, chocolate or weekends) minces things. Just use "beer" to describe beer.

Man, I'm thristy!

To all beer lovers, one word for beer in Chinese is "yam-seng"
which literally means "bottoms-up". That's reality and a fact.
Wherever you go to a pub, restaurant, night club, social
gatherings in houses etc. you'll meet lots of beer drinkers and
all they want to say to you is "bottoms-up" (your beers, ladies
and gentlemen!)
