Hospitals use ICD and medics use ICD when speaking with Hospitals.

Psychiatrists use DSM-IV. DSM is the bible for diagnosing mental ailments.

In the US, we use the DSM for mental health diagnostic purposed. The ICD codes more than just mental illness, whereas the DSM is specifically for that purpose.

I'd have to go with the DSM since it was specifically created to diagnose mental disorders

Ummm....Medics don't carry either book. Medics tollerate the crazy person untill we can get them to the hospital. Don't really care about their particular disorder but more about getting them out of the ambulance.

LSD or PCP are both much more reliable
