Don't do it yourself, or have a friend do it. Do it right. Go to a hairdresser. I have 4 daughters, and don't like to spend money on that stuff, but I learned that bleaching, if it must be done, should NOT be done by an inexperienced person.

The best hair bleaches for long-term use contain no peroxide or harsh chemicals. They're hard to find in salons since the processing time takes a little longer than the harsher bleaches; however, they're well-worth the search. Alfa-Parf, a high-end Italian brand, carries a line of bleach that is fabulous & does not damage hair, even after long-term use. Otherwise, any hair bleach for professionals-only is good. Don't be a kitchen-technician & stay away from "over-the-counter-do-it-yourself" hair products--that's just trouble--consult a professional.

I would go to a beauty supply store. But first I'd go to a salon and talk to an older lady. No better than that talk to a gay hair stylist..
They will know what to do.. But always know your hair will not be the same till it grows back out.

I don't know any products for bleaching hair, but if you bleach your hair, then your hair color will be fried.

Have it professionally done and go to a salon that has "Blondor". It's the best on the market.

I use herbal esscences by clairol. It is fairly gentle and I get great results. And it has never fried my natural hair color.
