After farther evaluation of my previous views of the Minute Men,I with draw any reservations about them that I had before.I explored their activities from all points of view and have found them an intelligent honest force to help our country.since the Justice Dept.have effectively taken the teeth out of our Border Patrol and wont permit it to to its job, then some other group has to do it for them.If the Minute Men and other militia type of forces are what it takes to combat the illegals and their supporters and their exploiters(coyotes) then they have my full support.
No amnesty for criminals, report and deport.
I am a liberal democrat but I don't follow any party blindly
I use my brain, ethics, morals and intelligence to make all my decisions, the party doesn't make my choices and whom ever supports my views on illegal immigration will get my support and my vote. Not all liberals are bleeding hearts.

They need to change the name! Minutemen? Is that from the revolutionary war? The Mexicans who cross over are not armed, they are the poor looking to do the jobs ,both whites and blacks would notn do. The Mexicans have always been here, Mexico and what is called the United States, they are blooded Native Americans ,some mixed with Europeans ,but mostly Natives of the new world, so what exactly are the minutemen doing? They are agressive, armed and racist and I would not be surprise they start shooting at the women ,children and men croossing over. How come no one makes a ruckus at the white Russians who are here and have the BIGGEST MAFIA holdings this side of the border? Or the Chinese who control Chinatown and speak Chinese and the schols there must have the Chinese language for their children?Concerning the MAFIA, at least the COSA NOSTRA had decency, no women or children ,but the RUSSIAN MAFIA and they are BIG, respects no one!

The minutemen represent an America that frightens illegals. They know that a movement like this could reach epidemic proportions, and then the poor bastards wouldn't stand a chance of taking over the US, with it's silent invasion.
It will not take much more disregard of US laws, before a real cultural war begins, and that would turn into a real bloodbath, unless the federal government gets off its dead @ss and puts on some real serious controls.
This crap about being held hostage by one big mouthed latina, holding out in a church in Chicago, is just that, crap. Pull her sorry @ss out of there and send her back from whence she came. Its time these punk @ss immigration poges got it right. Lead, follow, or get your @ss out of the way, we will do your job for you.
It's good that minutemen don't leave people in the desert to die, just as long as those people who they save, wind up south of the border at the end of the day.

The Minutemen have succeeded in getting people to read and think about the issue, which is a harsh blow to the progress of things like 'la raza', that've been banking on people not really paying attention or caring that much about it.
Illegal immigration is a serious problem, it's a component of the social engineering that's been visited on us by powers various-and-sundry, lax enforcement isn't a lack of capacity, it's deliberatel laxness in policy. It's that policy that needs to be changed, and maybe if people stop and think about what's been said, and what's happening(call your local city council for details), they'll be more inclined to send a positive and clear message to Washington on the issue, and help put an end to the practice of accepting illegal immigrants into our country anymore.
There's 300 million people INside the United States, and 6.3 billion people OUTside the United States. 100 years have seen a global population growth of 5.1 billion. This is the 21st century, and choices have to be made wisely, intelligently, and with full consideration of the facts as they're known today. Immigration law enforcment is a definite part of talking about 'security',
and the sheer numbers of people trying to get in, or more accurately being BROUGHT into the country(in my view, pardon me), are going to have a net negative impact. There's better, smarter ways to help people than by letting em move in with you.
The reason that america is what it is, is because we've learned the concept of 'managed growth'. You learn about stuff like that at a place called 'school', where they have books, and stuff.
Building schools in other countries would be the best way to 'help', or even better encouraging other countries to build their OWN schools, rather than exposing our economic 'underbelly' as it were to those that'd take a BIG bite if they got a chance.
It's my belief that we WILL see the day when congressional 'creative economics' will fold up like a cheap kite, and what we'll witness then is this sucking sound as people pull up stakes and go on to some other place where all the money finally went to, leaving behind a 50-state 'dust bowl'. I don't claim to have all the answers on this issue, and maybe my view is too cynical, but I have a lot of questions about the entire mess, and some doubts, too, about the integrity and forthrightness of some of our 'representatives' as well as their ultimate intentions and ambitions.
We, The People, have the right to know what our leaders are trying to set us up for, so that there's some kind of opportunity to forestall disaster in the event it's the product of someone's deluded drug-dream. Further tolerating illegal immigration
is, in my view, a clear indicator of incompetence, deliberate or otherwise, and to no small degree foreign influence over our national policies. An independent america once helped many nations of the world, now it remains to be seen if they'll reciprocate by trying a lot harder to solve their own damn problems, for a change.

The answer to your question is they bash the Minutemen because they called attention to the illegal border crossings and illegal immigration invasion that has been going on the last several years and if the pro-illegals don't like the message they attack the messenger. It's the the old tactic of you are exposing them so they will attack you even though you are right and they are wrong and they know they are wrong. but they try to discredit you by name calling and telling outrageous lies. Saying the Minutemen are vigilantes and killing innocent women and children is just sensationalism used by pro-illegal supporters to try to extinguish of the spotlight aimed at people breaking the law and the people who promote and support them.

All illegals bash the Minutemen.
And weak Americans expect their government to do everything for them. The government is supposed to represent the American people. When the government gets too big for their "britches", then the American People give them a reality check.
If the government gives us lip service on the border fence, then the patriots of America take issue in their own hands. The portions of the fence being build are being build with permission of the private land owners.
Because of the illegal rally, May 1....because of hearing the crowd of 6 to 7 hundred mehhican illegals and their supporters chant AZTLAN for over 5 minutes....because of the obscenities screamed at me for being a "gringo", because we were told that they are taking their country back...because we were told to learn Spanish.....because the police had to protect us from the mob simply because we were white.....my husband and I joined the Minutemen and my husband works as the attorney for the Utah Minutemen (pro bono for those of you who only think in dollars).
pro bono means working for free..........

Okay first off I don't bash the minutemen. What bugs me is that there is a governmental agency better known as the border patrol who is suppose to do that job and there is no law that states that a group of people can go and do a job that a governmental agency is suppose to do.Yet people are cheering these people on,they claim that they want the laws enforced and respected yet they are undermining them.As for helping out all the illegals I would like to see a link where it states how many illegals they have rescued per month, and btw I thought there were also several other groups whom rescued illegals by providing them with water and medical attention. And to top it off I do not approve of a group who claims that they will build a fence on their own without the governments help, yet they ask for donations and sell everything from t shirts to hats.Makes me wonder if all the people who donated money truly know where it is going to.Wouldn't be surprised if once this was over the minutemen did like the Mexican government and just make some of those "donations" dissapear into a nice swiss bank account.

Pro-illegals bash the minutemen because they're dumb ***** like everyone else in the government. It's not like they can do their job, anyway. The dumbass liberals keep making rules saying that they can't speed, shoot or even pursue illegals without the consent of their supervisor, which is totally stupid.

Pro-illegal = criminal.
Criminals don't want anyone reporting their crimes, do they? I love the Minutemen and I hate my government for not doing it's job.
