County jail....I dont believ there is a search, but Florida DOC,assuming your in Forida then the Offender Search can tell you if he has ever been in prion, on probation, parole etc. This of course only if his charges occured at 18 years or older. OR you can search the county he lived in clerk of courts website and see if they offer a search for charges that may have been imposed on him that perhaps he would have served time in county jail for.
