Kalyug is the present age where evil is rampant and people are forgetting God. Those of you who don't even know what is Kalyug or Satyug is, please don't embarass yourself by giving ridiculous answers. God is perfect, the spirit inside each one of us is perfect.

SO AHMED, YOU SAY HINDUS BELIEVE IN ANY ****. IF I'M A HINDU AND I BELIEVE THAT YOU EXIST, WHAT DOES THAT MAKE YOU? YOU ARE CRITICIZING YOUR OWN RELIGION BECAUSE HINDUS BELIEVE THAT ALL RELIGIONS LEAD TO THE SAME GOD. IN THE RIG VEDA IT IS MENTIONED THAT GOD IS ONE BUT IS CALLED BY DIFFERENT NAMES.

In kalyug the sins committed by the people will reach its limit. Then because of the natural disasters, like the tsunami in 2004, the people who have committed the most and the horrible sins will die. only the good people or the chaste people will live. Then these people will continue to live on this earth, like our ancestors did long long ago. That is when the Satyug will start again. But this is long way from now. So you don't have to worry because, you won't be there to see it ( atleast not in this life ). hope you got answer to your question.

Not at all. Airline fares have not really gone up at all over the last 30 years or so. So if they go up a bit now so be it. Gas prices are still lower due to inflation than they were in the 70s. The constant images you see of all these horrible stuff happening are very one sided. Showing pictures of happy and good stuff does not sell. This war you talk about is a minor skirmish with amazingly few deaths compared to past wars. The recession coming up however is something to worry about.

There is truth in the saying that this is kalyug ,for ,look at the henious things happening all over the world.
what we must do is keep god almighty alive at our hearts through chanting mantras,going to temple religiously ,attending satsangs and doing good karma.
when we keep intact the satyug in our hearts,well,the outside world changes and yes there will be another avtar..
whenever evil prevails,goodness avatar and the kalyug only makes efforts to settle things up with few godly persons and the like but a satyuga will follow.

You are perfectly right when you say that this is the Kaliyuga, and also the Stayuga would follow it.
I would like to share something here. Our hindu mythology strongly belives that Dharma is represented in the form of a Holy Bull.This bull derives the strength to carry itself and stand on all fours because the people worship God, believe in him, do penances to make him happy, do tapasyas, etc. When in the first yuga, this bull stands on all four legs as in the Satyuga, there is Great Bhakti happening, in treta yuga, this bull looses it one leg, signifying there are hindrances to God's worship and people tend to be slightly materialistic. In the dwapar and Kaliyugas the bull looses its second and the third foot being unable to stand and longer.... This is the verse that comes in one of the Vedas, and I am sure you will agree with me.
Kaliyuga entered into the picture after the Great King Parikshit( a descendant of Pandavas) allowed it rest on his head for a while.
Then on, it has been incresing its influence fiercefully and is expected to continue till a duration of another 24 crores of years ( as mentioned in the Great Epic of all times the Shrimadbhagavatam). By that time it would be unbearable for any body to stay peacefully for even a few seconds. Then it is expected, Lord Vishnu again would incarnate himself as the KALKI god and end Kaliyuga.
There are writings in Bhagavatam that mention as the Kaliyuga would increase its influence, people would have reduced heights, animals like cows would become stunted in growth, men and women would become extremely unfaithful towards each other, and a lot of extremely bad deeds would get reinforced.

You are still at an elimentary stage why waste you life in thinking about Yugas! learn to make best use of this human life to enter into golden age instead of wasting on brooding over it

'good people and bad people' the world is full of them..so you mean to say some are living in kalyug and some are living in satyayug...?

yes this is the Kaliyuga but the way you are living in your life can make your living enviornment peaceful and fill it with the light of God which is ever shining.
