The question should read: Who IS Jesus Christ ?
He is second person of the Trinity.
Jesus Himself claimed to be God and others recognized Him as Deity. He said, "I and the Father are one." (John 10:30) The Greek language, in which the New Testament was originally written, is explicit. Literally, Jesus said, "I and the Father, We are one [in total essence]." Jesus also claimed that He was the only way anyone come to God: "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me." (John 14:6) Again, the Greek language is very clear. Jesus used the definite article "the" rather than "a" when He stated He is ‘the way’ and not ‘a way’.

Unless you believe that I am He, you shall die in your sins (8:24);

I am the good shepherd (10:11-14) [cf. Psalm 23:1: "The LORD is my shepherd"];

I am the resurrection, and the life; He who believes in Me shall live even if he dies (11:25).

Jesus Christ He is the Holy Son of God. He died for your sins the Bible says in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotton Son that who so ever believes in me shall NOT perish but have everlasting life." Jesus was born to a virgin girl named Mary she was married to Joseph. Jesus was then brought to Bethelehem to be born. When Jesus was 30 the priest thought he was blaspheming God when He said He was the Son of God and they felt threatend by Him so they paid false witnessess and Jesus was condemned. They let Him go and then one of His disciples betrayed Him and Jesus once again was condemned. The people got a choice the murder and raper or Jesus the perfect SON OF GOD but no they have Jesus crucified. They beat him for a long time b4 they crucify Him and the whole time he never says a word not" You have the wrong guy" or "Stop please stop" Jesus took it and then He was crucified they put three nails in him two in his wrists and one in his feet. BUT THREE DAYS LATER HALLELUJAH HE ROSE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! Showing all of his disciples the nail marks in his hand and feet. They rejoiced and praised him. After spending 400 more days with Jesus He ascended into Heaven. And He said there will be a second coming. And that's what we are getting closer to everday the "Rapter" I can't wait to get to heaven!~ If you aren't saved find a church near by and talk to the pastor or if you go to church and aren't saved then talk to your own pastor they will be happy to help you enter the Kindom of God! GO BLESS YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Jesus is God. He came to earth as a man and live among the people for about 30 years. He died so man can be reconciled to God. His shed blood made atonement for us so we could have a relationship with the Father and enter into Heaven.

He is God's only begotten son, yet He came from the throne of His Father to the womb of a woman. He became Son of Man that we might become sons of God.

He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of a virgin. He lived in poverty, and was unknown outside of Nazareth. He had neither wealth nor influence.

He laid aside His purple robe for a peasant's gown. He was rich, yet for our sakes He became poor. He slept in another's stable; He rode another's donkey; He was buried in another's grave.

History has never known such as He. In infancy, He startled a king. As a boy, He stunned the theologians with His knowledge and wisdom, for His knowledge was directly from God.

In manhood, He ruled the elements and quieted the raging sea. He healed without medicine, and fed thousands from a boy's lunch. Even demons obeyed Him and He gave back life to those who were dead.

Yet He suffered and sustained in body and soul the anger of God against the sin of the whole human race. He was despised and rejected of men. Though He was innocent, He was condemned by a civil judge and sentenced to death on a cross.

By His suffering and death, He paid completely for the sins of all who believe in Him. He set us free from the certain judgment and eternal condemnation of God that was to fall on all of us.

Some have given their lives for others, and great men have come and gone, yet Jesus Christ lives on. Herod could not kill Him. Satan could not stop him. Death could not destroy Him. The grave could not hold Him. Having fully satisfied God's perfect justice, He conquered death and rose on the third day as He said He would.

For the last 2,000 years, every man, woman and child has been confronted with this same question. In Mathew 16:15, Jesus put it this way, 'But who do you say that I am?' One of His disciples, Simon Peter, replied: 'You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.' Now it's your turn. Who do you say that He is?
