ESPECIALLY when they prompted the guy to tell them about something from a long time ago, when right now, things are going good? Sounds like they just want a reason to fight or break up, something they can tell their friends it was the other person's fault. I know, lying's not cool. But to me, the questions asking about lying boyfriends...sound two-parts lie.
And...
Can any of these unforgiving girlfriends honestly say they NEVER lied to the boyfriends?

Yes, I'm a girl. And I've both lied and been lied to. It sucks. But I forgive people, unless they're psychos who never stop lying about stuff. No offense to such ones.

I forgive, I think, because I love and care about the one who lied. Not coz I'd want forgiveness. If it were the latter, I don't think I'd truly be able to move on without a grudge? So I guess I think people who can't forgive don't really love the person?

I think boys should be given second chances. One should be flexible and as soon as a relationship starts, tell the boys that they should refrain from lying and if they tell the truth no matter what, they'll forgive them that way if there is a future break-up they'll remain friends

Usaully if the girlfriend brings up something from the past it's because she knew the guy was lying and he NEVER admitted it and its been eating at her and the only way she can move on and be happy in the relationship is to talk about that past issue and lay all the cards out on the table. If the girl never had this conversastion with the guy then the relationship would be doomed forever!
Trust me I know what I'm talking about. I've been there!

No girls crave attention. By accusing you it ensures that you are forever hanging 'round them trying to please their every whim and fancy. Tell your girl that it was a long time ago and the reality is different now. And if you did something wrong then you better shape up too.
Now , if she definetely cares for you she should understand. Though that would be after a lot of crying and sulky days. But yes she would understand. If she's looking for a reason to break off then kiss her goodbye.

because they want the perfect man. In their head perfect is not lieing....cheating....and everything else on that level. My girlfriend does the same things. I believe that she does it so that the next time that i do lie that she can bring up all of the past times to prove her point that once you lie you will do it almost every time after that. They also don't cause they never know when to believe you after that. They also wont know whether or not to believe them when they say that they are not cheating on them when their feelings are telling them that they are.

I say that they are making them better for the next gal. Giving your man a lesson in life, making him a better person, is more love than letting him be a dirty scoundrel. Although we'd like to reap the benefits of 'changing him for the better' we can't, he is ruined to us, but better for it.
Case in point. My mother divorced my father because of his drinking. My father quit drinking and even got thin and productive. If she were to take him back, it would fall back into the same rut. By leaving him for good, he learned that he WILL get dumped. He was made better for his second wife.

i speak for myself when i say that its good to get rid of them when they cheat.It can really be painful and guys,when they talk ti their fellow male friend,at times make fun of the girl after she's forgiven him saying things like 'i have her under my little finger' or 'she can never leave me!'They need to be taught a lesson!

My wife asks me about my past all the time. I do not bring up the past... if it happend along time ago...it should have been delt with then and there
