Fadil,

Is it not the responsiblity of those living today to uphold the traditions and laws that were established 1400 years ago by the founders of Islam, and not simply modify the laws based on modern times and interpretations. How can we say we are more right today than those who established the religion. If modifications are allowed over time, how far are they willing to go? Shouldn't the goal be to protect the religion and come to understand the God through thoughtful prayer and study, without changing it all the time.

Because in saudi arabia there is wahabi sect of Islam which is popular. Its is extremely orthodox, extremist and intolerant sect of Islam. Also, to reduce incontrolable human traffic during Hajj they want to ban women because wahabis are male dominated mentality and thinking.

In countries like that, women are not considered equal. They are living in a developing country, and in developing countires women are usually a target of abuse in many forms. We cannot expect them to accept women there because men are apparently, more "important". It is quite sad that the world is so advanced, yet women are excluded from freedom, which is everybody's true right in the world, regardless of what laws are put into place.

In Japan they hav done segregation of man and woman boarding a train. Do u think this is discrimination.

Mecca is overcrowded and very2 hot during the hajj, and i believe u agree that most woman tend to be weaker than man psychologically and strength.
If the site is too overcrowding , is it better to protect the woman first no matter what their age is.

U simply assume Islam discriminate woman.
Woman in Islam is liberated since europe is in its dark ages with it inquisition.
There is cases of discrimination, but it is due to the culture of those people , not in Islam eg; in Pakistan.

Woman in America is only liberated from the early 1900s , gradually till now.
And u who has been on earth for a years, dare to accuse Islam who has liberated woman for more than 1400 years.

in Islam praying in the mosque is not obligatory for women.but it is obligatory for men.so the person who has more right to it is the one who has the obligation to Allah.once saudi expands the haram(the mosque around the kaaba women will be allowed back.so its not something they are doing bad against women.because women don't have to go to the mosque and pray.but if men don't go to the mosque they have committed a sin.
