Interesting question I am 5'0 short and I always find tall fellows, but I never thought of what you suggest. I am attracted to tall men for some unknown reason and usually they are younger than me. Most of the time. A few have been older but not likely. I am 54 yrs young and widowed times three. I give up/. One was murdered one died of cancer of colon and the other after 30 yrs had a vehicle accident I truly miss them all and love all the men that have been in my life. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and short or tall doesnt have a role its really the spirit we fall in love with. Good luck. Sunshine

I was always told that it was because they could feel more protective of a smaller woman which yes is a dominance issue, but then that was dispelled to me by a very tall relative who advised me that shorter women are closer to a certain part of the body that a man wants them to become better acquainted with (I tried to phrase that as nicely as possible). He advised that the two seconds it would take for a taller women to get on her knees is too long and a short woman would just.. well you get the idea.

I am 6' 5" tall and my wife is 5' 4" tall and how tall she was had nothing to do with why i was attracted to her. She is a beautiful woman and make me laugh. I do not look at her as being a "grown little girl" or a domination issue. Maybe she loves me because I am big and can kick your a s s .

Your "question" is based upon the assumption that there are only two possible reasons for this preference, AND that the preference is solely on the part of the male.
People have all sorts of personal preferences for all kinds of reasons.

It's neither for me, I love petite women because I'm a big man 6'3" 245 pounds, and I like having the feeling of being a protector. Petite women are just HOT in my eyes and the diffferent things you can do sexually is awesome!!!!!!!!!

I am 5'0 and my bf is 6'1" He says he likes our size difference because it invokes a protective response in him. He loves to place his hand against mine (my fingers only JUST overlap his palm) I wouldn't call it a dominance thing, I think its just a male thing...because its actually a tender response as opposed to an agressive one.

not really anymore but i still prefer it this way. ermm they look nicer as a couple. and dun forget girls lovvvvve to wear high heels so guys have to be taller so that the girls dun tower over them. ha ha
