whoa! What have you seen? I hope it is not a scene of vengeance/revenge?

(As far as I can tell, the French isn't perfect... - I'd write it as: "...Qu'est-ce que tu as vu? J'espère que ce n'était pas une scène de vengeance?"- but then that's not what you were asking)

(and btw, Norman's point (a) is incorrect and part of his point (b) is too.)

Well.. your French is not spelled right.. the first question:

a) Qu'est que tu vieux? What is it that you want?

b) J'espère qui n'est pas une scène de vengeance (which means I hope it is not a scene of revenge... or I hope that it is a revengeful scene

It means: "What have you seen?I hope it isn't a scene from ....."
and I think the rest is a name of novel or film!!
