im a freshman and sept 30 is homecoming i like this guy who everyone thinks likes me and well my best friend asked him to homecoming and she left it friday as a note sooo ill no monday but i think hes too nice to say no. . . . .im new this year and i really like him. what should i do?

Ask him out. It won't hurt since your friend hasn't begun a relationship with him yet. The key is to make him like you even more so that he will eventually leave the other girl. Just because he's nice doesn't mean he won't say no. If he's nice, he'll decline her kindly. The bottomline is he'll still leave her. Be who you are, strike up conversation, and get closer as the relationship makes itself. That's the major thing to do: get him to like you more.

totally go for it! your high school life is too short. Im a jr. and i regret not asking this one certant guy to the dance..as a fresh. so yea..go for it. but leaveing little secret notes...MIGHT classify you a LITTLE bit as shy, and anti social..go up to him and talk....
