Australia is in early Spring , and , the flower shops are busy , Theres new buds on all the disiduouse trees , and the Dafodils have just finished . The frosts were not to bad this year , any way they are lifting now.
Which brings me to my point .
Autum in Australia ,consisting of mianly an ever green population , is no where near as coloful as the Northern Hemisphere .
So I have never seen Autim as you have.

I live in a very mountainous region of the U.S., and Autumn is my very favorite time of year. The last week or so of August, i start to actually smell it coming, and feel it. Just something different in the air, almost an emotion, then on into September it cools down and grass stops growing and leaves just begin to start turning colors a little bit, by the end of September, early October, they have changed to the most beautiful colors, red, pink, light yellow, dark yellow, brown, pale green, varying shades of purple, orange, just breathtaking! And when you are nestled in these mountains, it is everywhere! Then after all that beauty, they begin to fall off the trees, and are covering lawns, (we call them yards), and sidewalks, driveways. and it is just beautiful. Some people try to get them off their grass, but i leave them, nature takes care of it next spring anyway, but i do rake a big pile up to let the kids jump in, they love that. There are pumpkins and other fall vegetables for sale in roadside stands, fall festivals, apple butter is made here locally in the fall, (yum) fall flowers, mums, etc. everywhere, and a lot of people put haystacks in their yard and sit flowers, etc on them, very nice. Football games and back to school, a chill in the air, but the sun shining, gorgeous. Everything getting ready for a long winter's nap. Love it! Be happy to send you some pics.

Best autumns in the world are along the East Coast of the United States: Massachusetts, Maine, Virginia, New England. (I say this as a Brit who'd love to go and see another one some time).

The leaves colours turn vibrant and spectacular reds and flaming golds. Seen in the low evening sunlight, the forests are awe inspiring.

It's a glorious season over there, only of course it is known as the Fall.

Over here in the UK, of course, it's not so much the leaves we celebrate, but the harvests - the fruits from the trees. Time to collect the nuts and fruits, pick conkers and have conkers tournaments (if the insane councils don't try and stop them again this year!) and kick the mounds of dead brown leaves about.

There's an old tune from the Jeff Wayne War of the Worlds musical, "Forever Autumn," sung by the Moody Blues' lead singer. Says it all.

That is a really sweet question. I will never take Autumn for granted again, knowing I am privileged to see it in England. The trees turn to shades of yellow through orange to brown. The leaves fall off the trees eventually, Aland in a dry Autumn they make crinkly noises as you tread on them. At Present, we have a dry Autumn so I expect it will be extra colourful this year.

Autumn would be my favorite time of year for many reasons. For starters, it's colorful. It seems to set the mood for the holidays too. People seem more pleasant this time of year because the temperature is perfect. It's really good cooking weather too. Pumpkin pies, roasts, warm apple cidar with donuts. These foods just taste better this time of year(at least to me). You might be surprised that you have more energy too since the summer heat isn't wearing you down. Ohio's peak time for lots of color would be 2nd week of October. I think you'll love autumn.

Autumn in Atlanta, Georgia is very colorful but not until the end of October. It still just seems like summer right now.

you be attentive to days are longer in summer season and shorter in wintry climate, maximum suitable? properly, there's a factor in the middle the place the days and nights are equivalent--12 hours each. The Spring Equinox is in the (ask your self!) spring, whilst the days have become longer, and the fall Equinox is in the fall, whilst the days have become shorter. it is extreme-high quality to have a milestone to mark your delivery.
