Eat regular meals and snacks. I'd suggest eating 5-6 times a day, in smaller amounts, instead of eating three larger meals. This will give you a nice, steady flow of fuel.

Also, lift weights. By building your muscle mass you will be increasing your metabolism.

One thing you have to do is eat! Starving yourself will only make your metabolism slow down!
You MUST exercise,at least 30 minutes a day, that will increase your metabolism, and if you eat a balanced diet (3 balanced healthy meals a day) No more junk food, pops and fatty food...You will increase your overall health and metabolism!
Your exercise routine can be as simple as two 15 minutes walks per day, that will add up like you did 30 minutes. Never skip breakfast! You should eat a diet of 50% vegetables and fruit! Do eat whole grain products, milk products and protein. But cut out all junk! Drink plenty of water.
Good luck.

Graze. Seriously. I eat many tiny bites throughout the day, and I go for walks as often as I can. Don't try the fat-free route, it backfires.
