I have a 6 foot fence and mine will go over it like rin tin tin.

I didn't know this either as I have never owned a Bloodhound until about 8 months ago. I always thought they were to heavy to get over a fence.

Bloodhounds aren't much inclined to jumping up and over, BUT if there's something outside their yard that interests them, they will be over a four foot fence in a flash! To keep him safe, he needs 6 feet.

To keep your Bloodhound in, fences should be high, about 6' with wire sunk into the ground along the fence line to thwart digging.

Bloodhounds are less likely than the smaller versions to leap your fence. But being scent motivated, when they are focused, not much distracts them.

Absolutely true. All sight and scent hounds need 10 foot high walls, most can clear 6 feet easily. 8feet is really the lowest I would have the fence!
