ONLY IF your repentence came from the HEART and ONLY then.

Listen.
God doesn't have to forgive anything, because there IS nothing to forgive!!
Sin is just a concept created by the church to control people by fear!
Think about it! A supreme being, capable of anything, absolutely unlimited in every way, infinite, the source of ALL, and all knowing.....decides to make a race of flawed beings (us) and then proceeds to judge and punish them for being flawed?? No!! It's a very man-made concept. Don't buy into it!! It will just screw you up.
If there is separation between us and "god", then god isn't infinite!
If hell exists as a place or state devoid of god, then god isn't infinite! If the devil exists as a separate entity, then god isn't infinite!!
But if god IS truly infinite and omnipotent, then everything, good and bad must come from him/her/it......and if that's true, what possible reason would a god have for judging itself? None of what organised religion says makes any sense; it's a fear based concept based on the character of humans, ie judgement, punishment, sin, forgiveness, redemption, damnation etc etc
You can do no wrong, because there is no wrong!! There is only what works and what doesn't work according to what it is you want at any given time..

Yes just like he will forgive someone of murder if they truly and fully repent. In our human eyes murder is more of a sin than adultry but to God, sin is sin regardless of what type of a sin it is or how bad it may seem to our humanly standards.

No. Those 10 commandments were not a joke. You can do just about anything else, but break one of those 10 and your a sinner, time to face the facts. I do remember a story where Jesus himself forgave a woman who committed adultery, right as she was about to be stoned, and not in the good way, he said "let those who have not sinned cast the first stones", which saved her because all those accusers were sinners. Then he told her to go to her man, and NEVER do that again. But seeing as Jesus isn't around anymore, your outta luck. I would be more worried about whether my wife forgave me, since she would be the one I'd have to live with and look at everyday.

The only true and lasting repentance(chanGe), forgiveness thereof (to all if unto any, since there is no respect of persons with God), is via the abolition of law imputing sin and death followed by hell. God HATH FORGIVEN you for Christ's sake: Ephesians 4:32, and while we were yet sinners: Romans 5:8. So obviously the you first sort of conditional forgiveness in Mt 6:15 is obviously leavened with forgive us as we forgive others, or not.

"Christ" is "the end of the law": Romans 10:4
So "for Christ's sake" = via "the end of the law"

Stop getting "high" on "Jesus": is "division"-all.
(mind not high things, and be not highmindead)
Start getting "higher" in "Christ" is our "peace".
He is our peace who hath "abolished the law".
He ascended "far above the (law law) heavens".
In him(Christ) there is no law = no sin = no death.

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

You would be better served by asking forgiveness from the one you cheated and lied to.

God already told you that He forgives you.

I believe if you repent with all your heart and all your mind, and then change your life to be pleasing to the Lord, you can be forgiven of your sins.
