I believe because I felt the power and presence of the Lord. I changed my life because I now knew the Lord existed.

Romans Chapter 10 Verse 10 says that with the heart a man believs and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
You first believe an unknown story about the saving love of Jesusand then you declared Him Lord of your life in prayer. Then you became saved.
Now you have a measure of faith dealt to you which you should build on to become big and strong, such that in spite of oppositions and challenging circumstances you can still declare what you believe and remain saved.
This is the principle of the fight of faith and continuously applies to every area of your life every single day.

We are first saved because we believe and continue in faith, believing because we know we are saved.

The word of God clearly states the: If you confess Jesus as Lord and beleive in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, then you shall be saved. So I beleived then I was saved.
Personally, I beleive because I saw God's healing in action. My mother had rheumatoid arthritis, an incurable disease. Two believers came and ministered and she was completely healed. All trace of the disease was gone from her blood.

Both. I believe that Jesus Christ is my saviour, that He died to save me from sin, that I may have eternal life. Once you are saved and have a relationship with the Father, it is easy for your faith to grow.

I don't beleive, therefore I don't need saving. If you believe me, then you don't need saving either which will save you from having to worry about beleiving and / or being saved.

You are saved if you believe and accept (every day) that Jesus died for you. Jesus is the way... and the truth.
