It would very likely die of dehydration. Through the process of osmosis, the water inside of the fish would try to move out of the fish and dilute the water around it. In a biological system, the cells naturally try to keep the concentration of dissolved substances the same on both sides of a membrane - this is especially true of salt. Since the sea water is saltier than the fluids inside the fish, the water would move from inside the fish to outside.
The same is true for people. That's why you can't quench your thirst with salt water. If you drink nothing but salt water, you'll die from dehydration too.
