Just give him some time to adjust to the new territory. He was comfortable where he was and now, it's all new. Give him a couple weeks or so to get comfortable again. Play with him alot and show him that he is loved.

It will take time for him to get used to the new home, but I don't think he will settle down that much! My two are 2 yrs old now and are still very hyper and energetic sometimes!

Have you had another pet? Kitty may just be responding to the new animal smells as well and be nervous that another cat or dog is around.

He just has to get use to the new place. They usually lose that kitten behaviour after the first year or so. He is just bored and needs more things to do like toys and activities. Maybe he needs a brother or sister???

He doesn't have to be crazy and nasty! If he is biting or clawing things, take a rolled up newspaper and when he starts, slap it against your hand or leg and it will make a loud noise. He will learn that when he is doing bad things. And if you let him terrorize you now it will only get worse as he gets older. Have him neutered and that will help too.

Maybe he's just staking out his territory. Let him be the boss for a while and then he'll settle down
