Yeah, DO NOT use puppy advantix on kittens..I tried that, my girl started shaking and twitching then i washed it off of her.. OMG i was scared.

Also, if you use it on kittens before they are old enough (its usually about 12 weeks i think) they can also overdose and shake. Make sure you use the right dose for the right age. And sometimes they scratch at the spot and hair falls out but thats normal. Just try to keep them from scratching and licking.

We have tried advantix but there are two other remedies that work better. Frontline kills flea eggs as well as the fleas themselves. Also there is a treatment called revolution which kills just about anything that shouldn't be in or on your kitty. You need to get revolution from a vet, and it costs a bit more, but it is well worth it. Especially if you live in an area with a lot of ticks and fleas.

Only use the stuff thats for cats, the dog flea meds can make your kitty very sick, & it could possibly die. A word of advice, be cautious of the flea meds for cats too, I took my cat to the vet, for his meds & we found out that he was allergic to the medicine, He was froathing at the mouth, falling over, & then vomiting, constantly. if I wasent at the vets office, I probably would have lost my kitty. We tried a different brand flea meds, with the same results. So, please be careful !

it can kill them, be very careful with anything that is for a dog. as it will have toxic effects on cats. their metabolism is totally different than cats ....and require different dosage amounts. also cats are highly sensitive to any pesticides when exposed they can go into convulsions and death.. so consult your vet.....

If it is the doggy version it can cause death in kitties. It is to toxic and causes vomitin and lack of nerve control, seizures etc. Then if not treated death.
