No, not at all. I live pretty simple. I do purchase good camping equipment because I do a lot of backpacking. I have a sturdy mountain bike because I ride a lot. I don't think God wanted us to have "boring" lives, so I do spend some of my money on the things I know I will put to good use. I donate a lot of my time and money to help others. I think that's more important than owning things that I'll never use.

Have you ever noticed that the more stuff you have the more you worrie about it and how much more money it takes to keep it or take care of it? So what's the secret? It's simple give some of your money to someone who really is in need, and no I don't mean the drunk on the corner, but someone who work's and can't seem to make end's meet! Youll be so much much much happy that it will hurt very very good !

material goods are accumilated by all of us. recently i moved from a 5 room house to an efficiency apartment and had to part with a lot of items. i really don't miss the items as i realized what were the most important to me. still have to many things but then each of us has certain material goods we can never seem to part with.

no longer fairly. i'm fairly conservative with my money yet there are components that i like to take exhilaration in. i admire reference books (and that i actively use them daily), perennials and timber for our backyard (they come again each twelve months), and now and returned i like to top off on paintings components that we use for entertainment in the wintry climate. I purely purchase issues for my living house that are "favorites". i attempt to p.c.. aside each merchandise to be certain what i will discover incorrect with it. If i won't have the ability to p.c.. it aside, i purchase it. many cases i'll settle directly to think of approximately it for some days and if i discover that i'm consistently going back to pass to the object, i be attentive to it will be a commonplace if i purchase it. Being sensible and choosy saves me money and area for storing and time cleansing issues that i actually do no longer desire or want. i be attentive to that no textile merchandise will provide me persevered happiness. Happiness is a few thing that i will decide for in spite of what I own or do no longer own.

No, but I have often felt sick inside thinking about all the stuff I have responsiblity for that I am paying the bank for the honor of claiming to own it.

i know exactly what you're talking about.
i suggest you reach out and do charity and give money in charity and help others (instead of "just" yourself so much)
also, it may be time to think about starting a family or somehow outreach and get more involved in other people's lives.

Years ago I found that removing clutter from my home helped me also remove clutter from my life.
