31 is not so young that he doesn't know what he's doing - you're not doing anything wrong!
Be prepared for judgement and negativity from the general public, but enjoy being together!
The only thing I'd worry about is the financial situation. You've had a lot more time to build up a nest egg, so are more vulnerable to loss when combining assets or residences. You might want to use caution in that area.
Otherwise, enjoy. You go girl!

I think you must mean pitfalls, but being a 32 year old male I'd say your biggest pitfall is the one your already aware of...the ticking clock. Enjoy what you have with this man, but you yourself are refering to him as a toy boy, somewhere in your mind and heart you know that one day your toy will break, get lost, or become boring. Don't smother him in "i love you's", remember your older wiser, more mature...so keep the toy around as long as it feels good and no one is getting hurt. When and if the pain starts....GET OUT!

Yes there are pitfalls, but enjoy it while you can because there are others out there that are the same age as your toy boy, and will and maybe succeed to gain his affections. My husband is 5 years younger than me does that mean he is my toy boy? Mind you if I could find one that looks like David Boreanaz, wow, I would go for it...

Go for it! I wouldn't think there would be any intial pit falls, apart from the obvious things such as being able to remember when Elvis died and any issues pertaining to existing family relationships.

You already know the answer to this one.
The age gap isn't the problem, it's the fact that you are so insecure about it.
And, what's with the "boy-toy" label? Why do you refer to someone you love that way?

its personal choice, i like the younger man usually only about 5 years younger though,
the only pitfalls that i have found are that they are not very mature and tend to lie a lot,
but the upside is the sexual side they want it as much as i do, so it a bit of both,

Hon, I think it's "boy toy". But to answer your question, don't you think it's condescending to refer to him in that way if you're in love? Nothing says you can't fall in love with someone who is a lot older or younger than you. People ar people and they fall in love. Who is to say it's not "allowed". Just go for it and enjoy :).
