My wife has fibromyalgia and she gets the tingling and numbness in her hands, legs and feet. It sounds like it's from the fibro, but it could also be early signs of carpal tunnel syndrome, which affects the use of the hands and usually starts out with tingling/numbness. If it persists & bothers you ,I'd have your Dr. check it out.

This is going to sound very funny, but the next time when its tingly/numb find the nerve in your elbow called the ulnar nerve. Pinch it , not too hard but just enough to see if the tingling goes away, if it does then its Ulnar Nerve damage, if it isn't in the pinkie then it maybe carpal tunnel syndrome.
See a doctor for nerve testing.
Good Luck

I get that. The doctors say it is from a compressed disk in the neck irritating a nerve, but there are other reasons for the sympthom too or so I have read. Neuropathy is the general heading and you can get it from a deficiency of B12, some medicines you are taking, various agricultural/industrial chemicals, diabetes, a long list of things.

Pain in my fingertips is usually the first sign I have of a fibromyalgia flareup. What meds are you on? I take 800 mg. of Aleve and a 1000-mg. flaxseed oil capsule every night at bedtime to keep my pain under control and take Arnica tablets (a homeopathic herb) as needed for flareups. Check out the links below for sites that I've found really helpful. I hope they help you as well. Please let us know what works for you.
