When I arrived at the emergency room, the doctor thought I was in a congestive heart failure stage. How many people have consumed black licorice and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. How many elderly people? Stop and think about it.

This was not an allergy, this was licorice toxicity. The amount of black licorice root in Hershey's Twizzlers may be too high. Hersheys states, on line, that they do not use black licorice but they do. I was put through many tests while hospitalized. People are just not aware of this. It can be dangerous.

Black licorice can raise your blood pressure, but that is the only negative thing I've heard. I don't believe u have any grounds to sue. You eat it at your own risk.

You actually have nothing to go on to pursue a legal case. Some people have allergies, period. You just happened to eat something you were allergic to. How can you pin point it down to the black licorice?
