Pickles last at least 6-12 month but i would throw them away after 6 month just to be on the safe side

They can stay longer in the refrigerator as long as you keep checking the oil in the pickles. I mean that the oil should be enough to cover the pickles in the jar.

You can even try adding some equal amount of sugar and salt in the oil of the pickles, and walllla the pickles will never get spoilt.

For pickles in vinegar add salt and stir properly and store in the refrigerator and you will never have spoilt pickles at all.

They have been pickled and are in vinegar for pete's sake. They can be eaten for a loooooong time. I would say if they do not have mold on them, EAT THEM!
