Yes immediately. they should not be allowed to take private tutions. All of us know the problem children have to face due to this mal-practice. Teaching is a kind of devotion. It is very respectable job. It makes the children a nice citizen in future. But let us got to the deep root of such tutions. Our teacher community has their own requirements. They wish to live happily with all available amenities like others. They are worthy of such amenities. So if they are well paid why they will resort to such practice. After all they want to work more and work hard in their life. So the right answer may be that this type private tutions should be immediately stopped and the teachers should be provided more rich resources so that they could lead their life happily. I hope you will agree. If you are a teacher please forgive me if I hurt you.

i dont think teachers of both private or public schools should be prevented from giving tuitions to their students considering the meagre excuse for a salary that is given to these highly qualified individuals and if they are in any way able to help children who are not able to grasp topics quickly or just need extra practice at home or wherever it shudnt be banned even though i dont particularly like the concept the private tuitions

Tuitions are the easiest form of making money nowdays. and teachers are inclined to it as its fast. and in order to gain a classroom in their homes they always avoid teaching commitedly in their own school classroom which in turn drives students to their residences. so if a teacher is committed with their work of teaching in class, tuitions will see a downfall.
Secondly, shortfall of salaries! well where are the salaries going anyway?
the teachers are no less acquitted in having a hand in being unjustful to the Government and its people as much as parents and students are. So its a vicious circle!!

I don't know much about gov. teachers in India, or much about their educational process, but I do know that Indians are making a major push to get good educations, many that I have talked with can read and write English. That's allot more than I can say for us here in America. Don't get me wrong America is my country and I love it enough to die for it. The people of India are much more at peace and less materialistic than we Americans, and I feel that trait is our downfall.I feel god looks down upon Indians with pleasure. Good for you people of India!

If their private tuition is banned, why should they waste their time (the precious minutes of their life)?

yes because they are not able to give their 100% to their students at school. moreover some of them try to attract the students towards their tutions. it is nothing but shear business. rather being government employees the pay scales should be improved. there are hundreds of students who suceed inspite of tutions.
