Read the book called "Bones of Contention" by Lubineau.

Basically, we have fossils of people and dinosaurs. The interpretation you want to put on them is subject to debate.

We believe that Neandertal, etc, were just people. Why do they have to be "ape-like"? If you find the skeletons of abboriginies, you could possilby say they are ape like, but they are just people.

Dinosaurs lived with man and were killed in the flood of Noah which would explain all the fossils. Things don't fossilize in the wild (normally). They have to be buried in mud.

If you really want a great perspective of the Christian view on this subject, go to www.drdino.com and download seminar #4 "Dinosaurs and the bible". It explains everything from our perspective quite well.

birdsflies is a little misguided on his rationale. I don't know where he got that stuff from about them not having souls, but it is not the bible and science can't prove anything about a soul.
And by the way, in the 1600's (when the bible was translated) replenish meant "to fill". Not re-fill. Our language has obviously changed in the past few hundred years.
You need to define most of the biblical words with a concordance, not today's dictionairies. So please don't listen to what he is saying. It is way off base.

Evidently God did not see a reason to save these creatures when the Great Flood came. It is just VERY possible that the Neanderthal and the Cro-Magnon weren't human but apes.

I have answer this many times, Bit I don't mind answering it again. I am a Christain, One that does believe in a prehistoric world, The types of man you mention is none other than cave mans & yes there was dinosaurs. But these cave mans & cave womans DID NOT HAVE A SOUL, They were NOT SONS & DAUGHTERS OF GOD. I know many Christain teachings don't believe in a Prehistoric world, I DO. Go to Gen. 1:28 What did God tell Adam & Eve, TO (REPLENISH) the earth, in other words, to fill IT up AGAIN, the same same he told Noah after the flood, TO REPLINISH THE EARTH or to fill it up AGAIN. At the end of the prehistoric world or time frame, I can see God taking this planet away from the sun long enough to cause a great ICE AGE killing everthing, & over a period of time, which could have been millions of years, I can see GOd begin to bring this earth slowly back into a relationship with the sun to begin to warm it up again to Bring forth Adam & all his animals that was to live on this side of the great ICE age, I know some people believe the Dinosaurs was here until Noah, NO they were not, Because God told Noah to go & get 2 of every unclean beasts male & female & to get 7 of Clean beasts male & female. I hope This helps you alittle. By the way Adam & Eve did have a soul They were SONS & DAUGHTERS of God.

According to the Bible, Man has only been on the earth...since the creation of Adam and Eve, for about 8,000 years. The geneology of Jesus is found at Matthew ch. 1 and Luke ch. 3. The geneology and ages of the Jewish Patriarchs is found at Genesis ch. 5.
Try drawing a chart on what the Bible says...=8,000 years.
But this does not deny that the earth was created a long time before that...or even the creation of the animals, including dinosaurs. They existed, we have the proof. But no human bones have ever been found with theirs. Because they had died out before even man was created. The teaching that the earth itself is only 8,000 years old is not supported by the Bible.

Show me a Neanderthal man outside of "educational" text books.
Show me a Cro-Magnon man outside of "educational" text books.

I think dinosaurs are wonderful, as are all of God's creations.

God created them, but then decreed that they would not be allowed on the ark. Then when the flood happened, they were covered in mud, which is why we find them underground. The flood happened over a long time, some things could swim better than others. The one's that could swim better survived longer and were buried closer to the surface, which is why we find different things in different layers.

People claim to have found evidence of apatasori living in 'deepest, darkest Africa', but I find this dubious.

(reaction on your different question, which you by no skill have been given back to me on) i'm nevertheless waiting for a evidence that actuality is actual. besides, i might fairly opt to be attentive to what evidence backs up your undeniable fact that actual evidence can symbolize evidence of something. in spite of everything, what evidence is there reason is in any respect clever in determining the character of the universe? EDIT: easily, i do no longer attend church. My place on those issues is entirely a results of me watching the previous's philosophers and theologians. it is exciting the way you insist that actual evidence can coach issues, and then won't have the ability to start to furnish one tiny little bit of exact, verifiable, great, or empirical evidence that 'it' does. Are you basically asserting that some issues are actual that isn't have the ability to be empirical deduced, and that's faith... or are you basically enticing in a mixture if fantasy and disingenousness. (i actually ought to thank you for no longer referencing Christianity in the tip. it could have been stressful for me to format my new version of your word in case you had) Oh, yeah, and besides. I do have faith actuality exists and evidence may well be utilized. i'm purely pointing out which you do too, and which you do because of the fact which you have faith. some thing which you're hypocritically condemning others for having. EDIT II: additionally, your lack of expertise over the priority is revealed once you ask for empirical evidence of God's life. That request is mindless. in besides. EDIT III: "I have faith my senses." have faith. so which you do admit to faith. have faith, in spite of everything, is the religion that some thing/somebody will behave in the way you like it to. So it is not which you're delusional. you're basically hypocritical. and that i be attentive to that appears like an insult, yet I say it with out malice. Hypocritical purely skill you're actually not as severe of issues as you will possibly be. you do no longer know which you like faith to proceed living, so which you mistakenly proceed living below the assumption you have none. EDIT IV: How vulnerable do you think of my bones are that a 5 meter sprint ought to reason me disfigurement? I propose, a concussion, according to possibility, if I went head first. yet, different than a cranium fracture if i attempted to apply my head to interrupt the wall, the impression may well be 2 extensively dispersed to reason me rather disfigurement.

They think it was like the Flintstones. Don't try to use facts with religionists, they will always counter with something stupid like: "God works in mysterious ways". Besides most people don't have a clue what the Bible or Quron actually says. So they have no idea of how truly stupid it really is.
