Raw egg is nutrient efficient, and although high in cholesterol, studies show that ingestion actually reduces to some degree the free cholesterol build p in the body. Not everyone can tolerate the slimey texture of raw eggs, tends to make some people gag. Traditionally, the best way is via an egg nog, either using milk or soy as a base and beating the raw egg into it. Adding a banana to the mix makes for a delicious protein rich meal.

Raw whole eggs are a phenomenally inexpensive and incredible source of high-quality nutrients that many of us are deficient in, especially high-quality protein and fat.

Yes, of course dear.
I think it's a bit different from your country and mine, but I my country (Vietnam), people eat raw eggs. Well, not really "raw". We use just-born-egg (it's really nutrient), put it in a small bowl and pour boiled water over it. You should wait for 2 second and you have a really great breakfast.
Enjoy your meal! ;-)

Yes, raw eggs can be eaten, it's still as nutritious.
But the problem with raw eggs is that they still contain bacteria and germs, which can only be killed by subjecting it to heat (cooking) .Of course, eating raw eggs can cause salmonella poisoning , which in turn causes intestinal infections . Salmonella bacteria is also found in stools(poo).
Cooking, apart from removing germs, also allows it to solidify it by coagulating the protein (white part) to make it safer to consume.

Yea I can. When we were kids we used to eat raw eggs once a week when our native chickens lay their eggs. My mother will make one hole in that egg using a toothpick and put small amount of salt and mixed it with the toothpick
And alas, its ready!

I heard that the japanese eat raw eggs on top of their steamed rice.
Guess it depends on how clean the egg is.. but i'll rather eat it fried or steamed~ try steaming it with mushrooms and crabsticks!
