Wouldn't hurt to take it, just wouldn't be effective. Paralysis is a condition that is caused by the inability of the nervous system to communicate with the brain. Viagra works by increasing blood retention in the corpora cavernosa. Even if an erection could be attained, the nervous system would not support it's functionality.

Some people are classified as quadriplegics but they can move their arms and hands, just have problems with fine motor activity. That's because they still have some nerve function. The same with paraplegics. So the answer is yes, it can work normally. Didn't you ever hear of paralyzed men fathering babies?

Normal effect I would think because paralysis just means that you cant move not that blood flow stops below the waist therefore causing viagra to work normally.
