Good question! If all life is sacred, then you couldn't even eat grass -- you'd have to starve to death. But then your sacred life would pass away. It's a dilemma -- cannot win either way.

Biologically we are evolved to be omnivores; that is, to eat and be nourished by both vegetable and flesh foods.

Doesn't matter whether or not you're pro-life or pro-choice, you're human biologically and you gotta eat. Meat contains amino acids necessary to growth and longevity that no amount of vegetable proteins can provide. If you wanta grow up big and srtong and live long and prosper, eat meat, red meat. If you dispute this, look at a wealthy Hindu male and a poor Texan. The former never touches flesh. That latter eats it as often as he can get it.

It's not a matter of ethics or morality. It's a matter of biological logic.

It's ok to eat meat. Pro lifers and anti abortionists support the baby's right to live. Where do you people come up with these questions anyway?????

Don't even go in that direction.

Eating meat - Cow, Pig, Chicken, Turkey, etc is not even remotely considered eating a human being!!!

Since God had them eating meat - animals in the bible, then it is OK to continue doing so!

I am against abortions unless the child was conceived by a rape. I don't protest people who choose to have an abortion but will always feel that way for my own self and for anyone who ask.
I eat meat.

The distinction has to do with human life vs. animal life. I take the high ground in interpreting the intent of your question.

Some do, some don't. What's your point? The only thing I'm reading into this is that you support killing babies and you want to stir things up a bit.
