Let me rephrase it a little,
we all know ADAM ws the first MAN on EARTH, according to ISLAM n CHRISTANITY, n he ws a dear to GOD, also, Jesus n Mohammad are supposedly close to God, as JESUS is the Son of GOD, n Mohammad is Rasool the messenger, soo whos greater in terms of being closer to GOD.......

Prophets are men, chosen by God at various stages and under varying circumstances of history, to lead men from darkness to light. The Qur’an repeatedly states the fact that prophets with the same message were sent to each and every community. The process of revelation continued unabated, sometimes in succession, at other times in broken sequences until the period in history, when the termination of Divine revelation and messengership, with the Qur’an and Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him) became a significant milestone in the history of mankind. It is true that the lives and mission of many a prophet has been made obscure and distorted by legends that grew around them or by people with vested interests, who used the names of these prophets to exploit men and mislead them from the right faith. No prophet of God has claimed himself to be divine. They were all mortals who lived and passed away from this earth after completing their mission of conveying the basic message to mankind, which was a call for the recognition and affirmation of God’s existence, uniqueness and Lordship over all creation. It is an integral part of Islamic faith to believe in all the prophets of God.

They are all crap and creations to keep people's minds busy and under fear with result to be exploited by the religion systems.
Human History has many dark pages. All these dark pages were written when humanity was under the influence of a religion.
No matter which one or what colour the religion had. Fear and Blood reign their pathways.
The best trick for fooling the naives was the creation of "GOD".
There is no proof of any evidence of his existence. But Fear is the main weapon for his introduction. "If you are not obedient you'll go to hell". But on the other hand, "God is LOVE". all the "Bullsh**t" in "cans" for preservation and concentrated.

MICHAEL H. HART in his recently published book on ratings of men who contributed towards the benefit and upliftment of mankind writes:

"My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels."
(M.H. Hart, THE 100: A RANKING OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSONS IN HISTORY, New York, 1978, p. 33)

Since Adam belongs in the same category as Prince Charming and Puss-n-Boots; I'm gonna go with Jesus.

They all had fantastic personalities. The personality if just as transient as the physical body -- it is not the permanent part that remains.

ALL prophets are equally great. we are not to make distinctions between them!
here's what God/Allah has to say about this,

{ Say you, 'We believe in ALLAH and what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael, and Isaac and Jacob and his children and what was given to Moses and Jesus, and what was given to all other Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them; and to HIM we submit ourselves.' } Quran, Sura 2, verse 136.
