Medium to thick so that it doesn't spill off the plate if you tilt it slightly.

Thick and not lumpy, flavorful to match your dish. I agree with one of the topa nswers, thick just like a good woamn, you know you have something to hold on to, gravy thick means its going to be hanging on your food. LOL. Thin just sliodes on by, just like chcis, they slip right through. J/K No Harm meant.

Has to be thick gravy. I hate thin gravy why do they do it? its just wrong.............. have you tried kfc gravy it is to die for.
