Ask yourself why do you feel the urge to eat everything in sight. Do you feel like you lose control when you see food? Is it because you are always hungry? Is self-induced vomiting also a part of your problem? Do you also use diuretics or laxatives so you can prevent weight gain?
These are some question only you can answer. You need to consult a doctor immediately. You may be suffering from an eating disorder (almost positive you do).
You may be suffering from bulimia. I am not saying you do, but there is a possibility that you must not ignore.
Bulimia is an eating disorder accompanied by vomiting, use of laxatives or diuretics or other medication and excessive exercising. It has to do more with psychological factors than with food itself.
Go see your doctor and tell him all the details.
I recommend you read the consequences of bulimia and more about it on the following site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulimia_nervosa
Do not ignore the possibility. Better safe than sorry.
Take care and good health!

a food addiction is no different from an addiction to drugs, alcohol, or tobacco, and it's no easier to break. talk to your doctor about making a set diet for you to follow, having a plan will help you see where you're going and what your goals are. also, get in touch with your local addiction center or 12-step program. they won't make you tell them what you're addicted to, and hearing how other people are dealing with and overcoming their addictions may inspire you to stick to it. you may also want to talk to a counselor or a psychologist to see if there's some particular reason you're addicted to food, if you're trying to cover or compensate for something, it's more common than you'd think.
remember that it's not going to be easy, by any means, but if you're really determined, you can do it. Good Luck!

Become aware of everything you put into your mouth. Write down everything you eat (even the smallest item) and record the time of day, too. This will help make you aware of what you are doing and make you think twice before eating. Also, eat only things you can eat with a knife and fork.

i recommend a 7 day diet plan. it takes away your craving for different bad foods.
if you last the 7 days, you'll have burned off 7 to 15 pounds and you'll crave only healthy food.
go to worldprayercenter.org
click to enter
look on the righhand side of the screen for the prefast diet
it works. trust me.
thing is, during the diet you can eat as much as you want on most days. but those foods you can eat as much as you want are soup and veggies/fruit.

I understand. I have gone to "OA" Over Eaters Anonymous. This is a lot like "AA" It helps with food addictions. There is some websites. They have many support meetings in a week. Check out their web site to find a meeting close to you.

talk to the county health department. They must have a referral to help you with this. There are a couple of ways that this could be approached - glandular and psychological. With some more details, the folk there could point you in the right direction.

Try complete body de-toxing, then start back gradually on healthy foods -try to stick to these foods. After a while if you start eating junk food you will feel yuk & disgusting. Your body knows what is good for it! (Even if your brain is telling you diferent)
