ok I think what brendan R is thinking of is european sizes! (all I know is that my shoes say size 14uk and size 15 us

I think it's more of a myth than anything. Not saying that it couldn't happen, because I'm sure it has. I actually have seen proof of it... but, I still think it's just a saying.

No you're not! A size 15, is a size a 48 1/2 in the UK!!
But, yes, there is a correlation between the two.

I think it's true, I have size 12w US,but it ain't 12 inches long so I don't think the shoe size is exactly the length of the goods, but a good indicator

No, not really. Many tall men who have big feet do not necessarily have other big parts. Then there are others that have smaller feet and not real tall, that have big parts. I don't think it matters that much. You just have to see them under the sheets I guess, or in the shower to know for sure.

i don't have faith the myth is actual. i'm a length 6uk in footwear which makes me a 6.5 in US mens i think of. i'm notably primary in different departments... I even have very small ft, no longer furry, short feet, usually sturdy concern. My g/f is two sizes larger. unusually adequate my g/f's sister says I even have girlie ft. Hers are extensive too (whilst in comparison with mine anyhow). the two there footwear look as though canoes whilst in comparison with mine.

Yes there is, it is often a direct conversion into inches eg.size 14 shoes = 14 inches

I heard this thing on........I belive it was a blue collar comedy dvd, and he said "If he has big feet, or big hands, or a long nose, or big ears, than you know what that means. Well he better be packing because that is one funny looking guy". Well it was probably funnier when jeff foxworthy said it.

Well just be sure they re not flat feet,Now that could be a disaster.Regardless of size.However my feet are quite large,but alas not suitably endowed.
