If your statistics come from Yahoo Answers, then I strongly suggest you do a better job of considering the source.

If you're misquoting them, then STOP IT!

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. That's the Christian pov.

We are also very aware that continuing to commit sins is a highly likely possibility. Not because we wish to, but because we're human, and our nature, while redeemed, is still fallen. Doesn't mean we like it, doesn't mean we do it intentionally.

Since the definition of sin is any thought, word or deed which causes harm fo any part of God's creation, including ourselves; yes it's an abomination. But it's forgiveable, it's forgiven. All we need do is ask for that forgiveness and try to do better.

We are not evil. Those who deliberately, knowingly, consciously choose to say or do that which they KNOW causes harm....they are evil.

What a pity YOU cannot seem to tell the difference.

I read your previous question and no where did 93% of Christian say that they would not give up sinning. Most of them just said that everyone sins. God is the only one who is sinless. Sin does go against the Bible but we can be forgiven for our sin. But it also says not to purposely sin knowing we can just ask for forgiveness. What do you have nothing better to do then come in a Religious section and harass Christians?

A Christian walking in faith is very aware of his/her own tendecy toward selfish persuits. This creates a tension as one commits to allowing God to transform him/her. There are very real struggles as one tries to let go of certain areas of one's life.

When Christians admit that they will go on sinning, they are being honest about the fact that God's cleansing work will not be complete until after death.

Sin is an abomination it is true, and Christians rely on Jesus to erase their guilt at the time of judgement.

Peace to you, friend.

Probably because the word "Evil" has so much cultural weight to it. If you were to say we are sinners, we would agree. "Evil" as a noun carries with it the implication of "something that brings sorrow, distress, or calamity." (Merriam Webster) Even if Christians find their own hypocrasy reprehensible, they do not believe they are intentionally causing sorrow, distress or calamity.

The opposite of evil is good not Christian, and I imagine there are some evil people who have not yet repudiated their Christian faith.
