put fresh sheets on the bed, take a long hot shower or bath, make the room really dark, climb into bed and put on some soft music. Try not to think about not being able to sleep. Just bask in the warmth and relax.

There is not a lot of information here to go on. How long you have had it and other things like that. Go to a doctor and talk about how long you have had it, all drugs you take -prescribed or recreational, activity level and such things. There has to be a treatment for it, but finding it will not be done in one visit.

Try a hot bath before you go to bed. If that doesn't work you can always ask your doctor to give you a sleeping pill to make you feel better. It should do the trick and if it isn't real strong you should wake up refreshed and ready to go.

go for a sleep test to see exactly what you are doing during the night. i am a chronic insomniac - wanna talk at 3 am??? you may have something going on - like apnea that is keeping you awake. or maybe you are thinking too much. there is therapy to deal with stress - and medication to make you sleep. see your doctor. good luck.
