Definitely against. I have been on two blind dates which were a complete disaster so never again. The first one brought her mother along and was talking about marriage and what we would call the kids before the starter in the restaurant came. The second one wanted to taste my blood!!! So now if I get offered to go on a blind date, I'm as nice as possible but I just turn it down and rather make my own arrangements to find a suitable date.

blind date

somthing i wouldnt suggest you go on.- most turn out to be incredibly ugly , boring or plain losers.. But there are a few that turn out to be gems once in awhile or at least dateable. Id say about 3 out of 50 are the odds of you finding someone whos compatible with you on a blind date. Its best if your friends set you up with this person rather than just calling up some line or other service and going on a blind date. The friends at least know what you like and most likely who you would like, as far as type. Sometimes youll get a whacko sometimes youll get a good match, But the odds of the good match are very low. Maybe 1 in 50-100 and 2 that are dateable not to bad. The rest are whack jobs. So try to meet peeps in public or work , somewhere you dont need to go on a blind date.

Once went on a blind date ,was a disaster, a mistake, dont go anywhere with peeps you dont know , it dosent matter if your friend set you up with them. If you do go watch out. Guess you have to take your risks. - then again you can find a rare gem or someone dateable this way and they might be safe or cool.

Blind dates can be cool and funny . But i think that you should go cause maybe you will fall in love with him and maybe he will fall in love with you too. But if you do not like him you can only be friends. And if I were you i would go on that blind date cause maybe you will regret later (if you don't go). But if you go you don't have anything to loose. You can just win. Boyfriend or only a friend...
GOOD LUCK!!!

Had a few, two were not my type at all, 2 were simply stunning and one was a complete psycho who i thought was going to stab me when i went to pick her up.

Not enough room for the full story but went to pick her up from her home and she took me straight to the bedroom, i'd never even met the girl before.

Most guys dream maybe but she was a bit rough and i wasn't interested so tried to call it a day there and then.

I made some excuses about going and she blocked the door and had scissors in her hand, she wasn't waving them around or anything but my heart was gone mental and i was thinking 'oh sh*t'.

I managed to get past her after getting her to talk for half an hour but i tell you, ihave never got out of anywhere as fast as that day.

Go for it but keep safe.

For definately, we judge too much, a blind date is a great way to meet someone that you probably would not have bothered with before and would prove interesting - it could go either way but at least you will have tried.

Against. I've been on them and had bad experiences. The chances of meeting someone right for you on a blind date are a million to one. They are nerve-wracking lotteries and can be embarrassing. I will never go on one again.

I had a very successful experience of a blind date - so go for it.

It's no different to meeting someone in a bar you've never met before and spending the night chatting to them.

I've only been on one true blind date..and I wish I hadn't. It was horrible. We didn't get along and even still, he wanted a good night kiss. He didn't offer to buy me dinner, or even a Coke...nothing. Thank goodness it was a double date, so I had someone to talk to~

One question to ask: Are you in desperation? if not, why go blind to find your date if you have two eyes? MY answer: AGAINST AND FORBID FOR MY OWN GOODWILL....i would approach the woman i like. Then open the conversation and chat for a while and then ask for her number. who knows she might like you and call you for a date... Thats a real date that never go blind! fight your fear and OPEN YOUR EYES (not too big or in a desperation/pervert manner please).
