A famous science fiction author once said that the meek will inherit the earth, and the rest of us will go to the stars. I rather enjoyed reading that.
Anyway, once I'm dead and gone, I can't imagine that I'd really care who inherits what.

When the meek DO inherit the earth, they will be the
ONLY ones on it.
(Psalm 37:9-11) For evildoers themselves will be cut off, But those hoping in Jehovah are the ones that will possess the earth. 10Â And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more; And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. 11Â But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

I feel sorry for whoever has to inherit this thing after all we've done to it. "hey, here's your gift, I hope you like it, sorry it's a little bit damaged."
