girls love flowers and chocolates cos it makes them feel loved an special, its romantic. Men hate it because it makes them look soppy and they fear some woman getting to close and they dont want it. They think if they do it once they have to continue.

Girls love flowers and chocolate because years ago these both were not things you could even easily buy.A hundred years ago chocolate was considered a luxury not a necessity.Thats why when a man bought it for a woman it was so special because he was treating her like a princess and thinking about what appealed to her.Nowadays its still super special.It conveys Im thinking about you,your special to me,You deserve something.Flowers they are just stunningly beautiful.Gods art and we naturally love them.Men hate it because men often hate the choices involved in shopping and the exspense.They think which color flowers are best or should I get the milk chocolate or the dark chocolate.If you care for a woman she is worth the exspense.Nowadays these things show alot and cost very little really unless you buy roses.I dont need roses just any thing will do.So really there is no excuse for those men who never buy their wives anything.Hope this helps,

The chocolate thing I asked that question and there is a chemical that hormones release that chocolate contains so we crave it, if you wanna look for it good ahead, flowers~ they show and have different meanings when given by the one that they love, girls like to receIve flowers for the meanings and it makes them feel wanted where guys the have enough of the chemical hormone to were they don't grave chocolate and the flowers really how many guys want to seem that sensitive ive given my boyfriend flowers he took them and they died!!! Lol now I get him Cd's instead!

I don't. At least, I don't like the typical valentine's fodder.
Roses? There are so many other pretty flowers & plants. Try a bouquet of lavender and rosemary.
Gold? Gaudy. Silver is much prettier.
Diamonds? Snore... opals, sapphires & amethysts are more colorful & unique.
Teddy Bear? please...next question...
Chocoloate? Terrible for my complextion and vastly overrated. Take me out for sushi.

flowers and chocolate are so typical. just like stuffed animals and jewelry. i think guys should put alittle more thought into the gifts they give. they should give u a gift that means something. it doesnt even have to be a thing. he could take you to a place you always wanted to go. or do something u always wanted to do.
i don't know about men tho.

I'm a girl and I hate flowers and chocolates. Talk about cheap garbage. Only corny, unoriginal losers give those gifts.
I prefer money, jewelry, and anything I can hock for a good price. I also prefer guys who take me out to do spontaneous things, like parachuting, skydiving, etc.
I think it's because other girls are too emotional, sappy, and traditional. Society teaches girls to like these things, yet in reality it's just cheap garbage.

they love em cos flow. and choc. are so nice... Moreover men dont hate it. Actually i dont like flowers as a present actually but i love chocolate to eat. Mannn i LOVE Chocolate

you are right ro your question but to a limit
not all girls like flowers and also
not all boys hate them (take me an eg) .
but in most cases its true.
this is because girls are sofl and gentle, normally - like flowers
and boys are hard and tough - (just opposite)
and its by nature
