please i want evidence from the Bible or from a Jewish/Hebrew religious source

i don't believe in reincarnation because everyone is special and unique and you don't get to be born again. my question, though, is regarding destiny and something i don't like saying; a curse. if i am correct, the Bible says something about if your forefathers did something wrong, the children would pay?? i really don't know but I do know a lot of good Catholic priests, very educated, who say that this is the case. Any comments?

I did a Bible study by Beth Moore called "Breaking Free" that explains this well. I will try to give a short explaination that will not do it justice.

When someone is an alcoholic, their children pay for it. Another example would be a parent that is an abuser, their children pay for it. I married a controlling abuser & didn't realise it, until my mom opened up to me about how she was controlled. (a foreigner that was told no one else would want her). I'm not going to blame my dad, but when a man or woman is raised in an "unhealthy" household, they will "suffer" because of the sins of their father (or mother).
The beauty in all this is that you can have Christ as your redeemer. People are always preaching that He is our Saviour, but He is also your redeemer. He is the only way you can heal from the sins of your ancestors. I am determined to do whatever I can so that my son isn't abusive & my daughter isn't abused or controlled.
Also, the sins will go down 3 to 4 generations, but the Bible also says that the blessings of your father (or mother) will go down many generations. So, all the emotional healing I'm doing will go down many generations.

The God Al-Mighty had forgiven the "original sin" as jointly committed by Adam and Eve. For dertails see Quran and not bible. As opposed to current bible, Quran is protected in its original language letter by letter and word by word and stil today after1450 years as fresh, as motivating as if not more undestandable. Quran being the living miracle given to the last Prophet and Messenger i..e Muhammad (PBUH) and the God took upon Himself to protect it. So He has fulfilled His promise.
Quran says that the God Most forgiving forgave the original sin and everyone born is innocent.

Catholic priests only speak of their Catholicism. We are all individual people, and we will only pay for our own sins, not the sins of others. Remember those same educated priests couldnt keep their hands to themselves when they were around the altar boys, remember that next time you think of a well educated catholic priest.

i could say, the forefather's sins do bypass to in the process the generations. in spite of the fact that i think of what this implies while stated interior the previous testomony are genealogical sins consisting of habit, pedophilia, suicidal suggestions, violent nature, and so on. Even immediately, those nevertheless run in families and it rather is stressful for people to defeat them; considering that they have been embedded of their blood for generations. yet, basically with the aid of fact your ancester did some thing sinful, does no longer mean you will pay for it, basically have faith in our lord god and ask forgiveness (on your sins, no longer your ancestors) well-known and have faith Jesus. remember Catholic priests are no longer a stable source. i've got faith they do no longer persist with the actual christian techniques.

Not that I'm an avid church goer, but in my years of going i never heard of this, god wouldn't punish the children for the sins of their parents. would he? Now curses that's different, but not from god but from voodoo priests, those dudes will Fk you up.
