Great insight! The Gospel of Barnabas clarifies many discrepancies in the Christian ideology. It gives a clear picture of what really happened during the life of Prophet Isa (Jesus) peace be upon him.

I think that is just another rumor about Paul.
Paul was a man of God. He didn't create worship of Jesus. God did this.
There are lots of untrue things said about Paul and many biblical prophets and even angels.
For example, everyone has heard of the Queballa... it is a book of Jewish mysticism.. Asthon Kutcher and Madonna and Britney Spears practice it. The Queballa believes that the angel Raphael came down and gave some man a book?? And they worship Raphael?
But Raphael is still an angel in heaven.
No no, God would have Raphael bound in the abyss. The same as all the other traitor angels...
And thus the entire religion based upon a lie...
You should look into Christianity... It is much more peaceful... full of less traitors and war....
God Bless You

Well, this is something new to me. Initially, my impression is a distorted story written into the Quran by someone who has no intimate knowledge of Jesus and his disciples. That impression could be gleaned from a game of message relay wherein the original message gets mixed up at the end of the line.
But I don't condemn that story because both pilgrims and travellers at that time may have picked some information about the trial and passion of Jesus from others who might have heard little about what really happened. The distance from Jerusalem to Mecca was so far to travel on foot, and so information might be twisted as they conversed among themselves and with others. Freedom of expression was already common among them as they travelled and gathered on resting places. Remember there was no print media.
There is no way to validate the authenticity of information except through the Acts of the Apostles, the Letters of Paul, the Epistles of Peter, James, Jude (brother of James), and John. Except for Paul, who was a convert, these apostles were intimate to the Lord and therefore authentic to speak about Jesus and the new Paul as they learned later about him and his working for their same Lord.
Paul could not have been with and among the disciples because he was serving the Roman army and he did not know at all of Jesus until his trip to Damascus to persecute the early Christians there. In other words there was a space of time that separated Jesus and Paul. That space of time was Christ's death and Paul's conversion later.

The Muslim scholar Cyril Glassé states:
As regards the "Gospel of Barnabas" itself, there is no question that it is a medieval forgery. A complete Italian manuscript exists which appears to be a translation from a Spanish original (which exists in part), written to curry favor with Muslims of the time. It contains anachronisms which can date only from the Middle Ages and not before, and shows a garbled comprehension of Islamic doctrines, calling the Prophet "the Messiah", which Islam does not claim for him. Besides its farcical notion of sacred history, stylistically it is a mediocre parody of the Gospels, as the writings of Baha'Allah are of the Koran.

Stop blaspheming God and the Saints you can get in trouble because of it, deep trouble.
On the day when Jesus returns to judge you will see for yourself the sacred wounds on His hands and feet.
Your religion is a hoax perpetrated by a renegade Monophysite (who didn't like either the fact that Jesus was crucified) monk who wrote the Quran and simplified the Christian doctrines when he met the impostor Muhammad in the desert.

Did you make this up all by yourself or did somebody help you? What an imagination you have!! Jesus tells us Himself that he is Our Saviour, and you call him a liar. Now, now, you know that prophets don't lie and now you say He did? Go on, read the last half of the Quran while you're at it and see how Muhammed contradicts himself over and over about this "loving" religion. Now, you go kill a Christian, ok?

I do agree with you that Paul was not a saint and promoted a false religion (Christianity), but Islam is also a false religion.
