The Lord Almighty knew the potential that if He gave free choice, some will choose good and some would choose evil. Now would it be right for him to deny those who would do good and enjoy the rewards for the sake of those who would do evil and cause hardship on themselves?
Would it be right for us to lock up all human beings because some may turn to crime? Would it be right to keep everyone denied the right to ride the vehicles because some accidents may happen?
Sins are like accidents. If you allow people to travel, some accidents will happen.
Hell is ultimately not being able to reach the final destination meant for us and landing on a hospital bed by driving recklessly.
I hope this makes sense.

To not have sin..... one must first remove all the laws and that is impossible because the laws was established from Moses. When a person took something that once belonged to someone else....there was not penalty...until the law came and the people was told..."Thou Shalt Not Steal"... then it became a sin.
But let's say for argument sake that we could remove all the laws..... that means you could steal, kill, commit adultery, rape and do anything that you wanted....or maybe you may not do this ....but many others would.... The world would be in total Chaos.... no Peace, no Safety, no Home, no nothing.....
The only way to escape the laws is through the Grace of Jesus Christ. Through Jesus we learn to worship God on another plain than the people of the old testament and it is through this Grace of God that a person can escape the punishment of sin.... which is everlasting damnation.... think about it.
Peace

your name sounds like you're a muslim .. and if u are .. this is what we believe ..
Allah made the human being "ashraf ul Makhlookaat" (the highest among all beings) .. one of the reasons is because he gave them intellegence to choose the right and wrong for themselves.
Allah promised us guidance and He has given us throughout the history through prophets and books ... The men changed these books and killed prophets but Allah kept helping us. The last prohphet ..Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) came with the final guidance in the form of Quran which Allah has promised to take care of himself.
Islam is the only religion in which their holy book is not only in the form of a 'book' but Allah told us to 'Hifz'(memorize) it whoever can do it.. this was to take care it remained in its actual form .. and it has throu all this time.
If u read that and supplement it with Hadith u'll understand what Islam is
So, this is a place we have to be tested ... the actual and ever lasting life is the one after :) you have a book for guidance and you have satans and Iblees to deviate u .. and u have the intellegence to choose ... The choise is yours !
answer 2: Earthquakes according to our belief are a warning from Allah ... and where in Quran does it say that muslims are going to get away just because they are muslims ... if u read Quran thoroughly you'll realize how much more responsibilities the muslims themselves have and how tougher would their test be .... Tsunami and the pakistani earthquake came in ramadan .. Ramadan is a month for fasting .. but it has nothing to to with admonition from Allah .. it can come in any month.
About thinking from non muslim's perspective .. the girl after me gave u the answer
P.S:- if u see the muslims of today.. u'll realize urself they are not in a very enviable position themselves. Most of them dont even know wats there in Quran or what our religion is .. btw have You read it?

I do not believe in a place of eternal torment. Hell is the grave where we sleep until Jesus comes. Hell is also the swift destruction of the unrightious at the second resurection.
Think about it. Would God be a god of love if the first sinner - CAIN was in everlasting torment all of those years before all the other sinners.

If you walk in faith, you will be fine. What is right for one may not be right for the other. Long suffering is the greatest way to lean and understand about God. Do not attempt to judge and criticize God because only bad can happen to you. It may seem that the rich are blessed. We who are earthly poor, have so much more than most.

Not committing sins keeps us safe and able to to mix with others freely and safely. Safe future for our children and free from crime.
We commit sins because we are human and because everything has an opposite and temptation has been there from day 1.
Hope this makes sense.
Ultimately treat others as we would want to be treated

There is a way which seems right unto man, but in the end it leads to death. The bible says.
You can avoid hell by trusting in Jesus as your Saviour and Lord.
There is only one way to Heaven, and Jesus is the only way.
You can have your sins forgiven, and assured of a place in Heaven.

but its the fact that they both hit the same place (ish) - and those places happen to be predominantly muslim countries....its more a geographical problem than a religious one.
If all the CHristians moved to those countries, and the muslims moved out, i think the same would have happened

We have sin because The Lord gave us Free Will, if he had not then we would have been mindless robots. God Loves us and wants us to choose to love Him, not be made to. But he knew we would sin and that why he planed the perfect sacrife to wash away our sins, Jesus his son, the spotless Lamb of God. died on the cross to forgive our sins, past present and future. it is as simple as that.
