Scientific studies have shown that there is a genetic component to the tendency to be religious, so you could argue either way from this bit of information. Either I choose God because of the make-up of my genes, or God chose me because he is the ultimate creator of the gene pool.
On the question of faith: some people do seem to be blessed with an abundant supply of this from their earliest years. Others have faith all right, just not in God. Otherwise how do you explain all that money spent on drugs, potions, creams and plastic surgery to keep folk looking young? As a natural-born sceptic, I spent my youth questioning anything and everything to do with religion. It was only when I was in the middle of a course on Astrophysics that the realisation dawned: the things that I was being asked to believe as part of the course were already so mind-blowing and immense that belief in a God as the oriiginator of the universe was a relatively minor and easy step.
Please don't think in terms of fault: faith is a gift which comes to those who search with an open heart.

We choose God,because all Bible stories are made up as an explanation of the human condition. There's no actual proof that God influenced humans to write anything.

Yes, God does those people, but you can choose God, and if you are willing to abide by His rules, like reading your bible, love, and the keeping of the 10 commandments etc. then your faith will be strenghend.

It is God that chooses.... so if you are serious, you need to work on you faith and if you say you don't have much faith than maybe you are not one that was chosen to know of God.... is that what you wanted to hear?
If you choose to worship God, do it with you heart not your mouth and if you are looking for excuses to explain your short comings than you don't believe in God.... because that kind of person actually wants God to cater to them and God don't cater to no one.

Everyone is given a measure of faith. Faith is like a muscle it needs to be exercised or it becomes weak. God gave you free will. So, it is your choice. Will you choose to believe or choose not to believe.

A person goes to a barber for a hair cut .. while cutting his hair the barber says .. "I see people sinning all around me .. there is so much evil around us ... if there is really a God .. why doesnt he stop them .. and if He has power over everything why do people still sin .. when He COULD stop them".
The person does not answer .. he gets his haircut and steps outside .. there he saw a man with long hair .. he calls to the barber and says .. "why does that person has long hair .. u could give him a hair cut so how come he still goes like that?" .. the barber says .. "well, he didnt come to me" ... and the man replies "Its the same with God .. you ask Him for help .. He will help you"
We are all here for a 'test' ... ask for His help and you'll get it !!
God bless you :o)

Both. God choose us and you have to choose God as well. He doesn't take you by force but you are free to choose Him. If we choose God in this life, then we choose to be with Him forever.
If you choose to avoid God this choice will be forever.

We sometime deny God but we're still alive. We some time turn away from God but he chooses to keep us alive. We some times are disappointed with our lives but we're still alive. God chooses use even when we deny God.

God chooses us to be His fellowship, He allowed His son Jesus to die for all humanity. Jesus invites us all to follow Him and live according to God's word and path He planned for our lives. Everything involving us and our lives is God's will and purpose. The only difference is that God does not force anyone upon His teachings, He gave man free-will to make a choice, in the end we will all be judged according to wether we chose Jesus in our lives or not.

Nowadays it seems the people choose their God! God is there, he doesn't intervene, or else the universe would not be as it is. . . You have His word.. it's up to you if you want to choose the right Path.. Free will
