Go up there and talk to him. Act flirty for him. Maybe he will like you enough to ask you out. Even if he isn't interested, what have you lost in the process?

Get over the stereotypes! Women can ask men out. There's no law against it. If there was, it would be unconstitutional because it violates freedom of speech.
Also, calm down. Just ask if he'll go to Subway with you. Don't make the date a big deal either. (I mean, come on! It's just a sandwich!)
*Sometime later* Oh, 8th? Aim at being best friends then. High school changes everything (some good, some bad), and in the end, both of you will be different people. Trust me, the same happened between me and the neighbor kid. And to clarify, I admitted my feelings to him first! I do know what I'm talking about.

well, it sorta sounds like u he might like u, but since ur in 8th grade u may be 2 old for that whole friend asking his friend if he likes u sorta thing. how much do u flirt with him??? does he flirt with u??? how much??? think of all the possible signs that he could like u (flirting, trying 2 make u laugh, etc)

ok here is the best way to get him to know that you like him with out asking him out
he will get the hint and then try to ask you
go up to him and when you two are sitting down rub his pance in the area where his dong is that will get his attention
