Well, it depends what your goals are.

If you are trying to lose weight, that "hungriness or snackiness" you are feeling is your body using up calories, and in effect is you "losing weight". So no, in that case you should NOT go satisfy that craving. Have a cup of herbal tea instead, if you can't go back to sleep.

Lotsa people do it. If you are trying to lose weight it will not help, but if not the only harm is when you take something crunchy back with you cuz the crumbs are gonna make you uncomforable. Another problem might be that the something small gets bigger and Hubby had a long day and needs his sleep.

No, it should be fine. If you're waking up in the middle of night because you are hungry your body is telling you that you need to eat something.

If you were going to be to hungry to eat then I don't think it is a bad idea.

actually you should stop eating about 7 pm. yr body doesnt burn as much calories at night so tends to store it. better to have a glass of water before bed. read more on healthier eating and fitness on this site

Bad? I don't think it's bad, it depends if you are trying to loose weight, it is not good to do, you have to discipline yourself.
