I believe in past lives...I have been interested in a lot of different cultures even though I am an American, especially Africa and Asia. Why else would I be interested in them, when my family is not? Why am I gifted in writing, when my family does not like writing at all? I think our phobias come from past lives too.

If you like reading about that stuff, I would suggest "Past Lives, Future Healing" by Sylvia Browne.

Great question! I once heard a scientist say that the earth and its atmosphere is like a locked room. Nothing gets in ad nothing gets out. So all matter that exists on the earth was present when the earth's atmosphere formed. The earth is constantly recycling. Even humans are constantly recycled literally. We are matter. And matter is only energy in a condensed form. Energy cannot be destroyed and does not diminish. It only converts to another form. When we die our bodies decompose and return to the soil where we become nutrients that might feed a grazing animal. The meat from that animal may go to feed a woman who is pregnant. Who knows? We might literally be a part of her child when its born. That's just the physical part of it. I believe our conscious can survive in part if not whole and go on to form part of or another whole being. And the person your consciousness forms a part of can be very similar to the person you were. They might even retain some of your memories. But I think people rarely come back exactly as who they were before. They 'll have a different soul or a different consciousness or a different body and their circumstances will shape who they become.

I run into people all the time who I feel I know. They seem so familiar. I always wonder if I recognize a part of my recycled self in them.

Well, I dont. But you know ... until I had a hands on experience on some sorta game which allows us to have a communication with spirits. They live on this world, can be anywhere and we cant see them. But we can feel them in that game, they form up inside a coke cap and then you write all the alphabets and all the digits and then write two boxes called start and stop and then place the coke cap on start and invite the spirits, any passing spirit will come in then the cap will move, you can ask questions and it will go to the respective alphabets like a keyboard so you can get the answer. Thats it, then once done, you can go to stop and tell them to do so, then it will go. Then you must say them to go to their world, as this aint their one. So they will go. After this, I felt that spirits are there, past lives, still I dont believe.

I do.
Yes, we do become much wiser and evolved as we grow older, or move into the next life. But we only do this if we learn valuable lessons in this life. I have experienced that feeling of knowing a person upon being introduced and I realise that this is a gift to me because I must have acquired some valuable knowledge , and moved on!
Over the years, I have astral traveled in my dreams to far off lands only to find myself visiting these places in real life.

Love and joy to us all

Dreams can relate to our present, past or future but most often they don't seem to make much sense. I do not believe in past lives. I think we have one chance to live the life we are given on this earth and that life sets the course for all eternity. Our brain records everything we see and hear so maybe when something seems familiar it is because our brain is recalling something that we did not notice but still saw or heard.

Collective unconscious explains most of it.

It's hard to accept the fact that you only get one life, but if it's purpose is not to learn how to live it, hopefully by the time you die (but ideally well before that) then why bother? You will not have another life to correct mistakes or take roads not taken in this one, so just get on with it and do not take it for granted.

No. I don't believe that I had a past lives. If you have strong faith in God and your religion you should know what to believe in. And us becoming wiser, we do as we grow old. All other things can be coincidences or just familiarities of things from your dreamworld or imagination coming partially into the real world.

Myself and my bestfriend believe this. I truly think that the wiser you are the more experiences you have had given past life or by your own trials and errors

Reincarnation is an interesting topic. It's a topic that I've come to ponder about again and again. I'm open-minded but I wouldn't say that I believe in it strongly.

I agree with you. I also find myself in places that I have dream of days months even years ago.I believe we have lived past lives before and that we can see parts of that life from time to time.
