Hello, I am a 41 year old male. I am listed on one of the many internet dating sites. I had a 29 yr old female email me the other day. She wanted to chat and email one another back and forth. The kicker is that she is in a very far flung Russian republic, Im in the States. Her english is not the best in the world, but I think we are communicating well enough considering our differences. So my question is, Is she for real or should I quit dreaming? BTW I know about the scams and such. I would NEVER EVER send money or give credit card information....Hoping yes, stupid NO.

i think ben dover is right. she probably is very needy, next thing u know u probably will have strong feelings and will want to move her over here, which will probably be a lot of money, then mover her family over here too. no u can do better than that. just go to some grill bars hang out or go to some church revivals and u should meet a nice lady.

It's even ambivalent talking to women in the states. You don't know what you're dealing with. Forget the foreign females. For all you know, it could be a man or a kid.

Tread carefully. She might want to use you, fine upstanding American boy, to get to affluent America, then dump you like yesterday's cornhusks. Grill her and make sure she's what she seems before you get in too far.

She is for real, most want to get out russia and come to the USA and marry someone who will support them. Talk to her for at least 6 months, if your still interested, take a trip to russia to see her.

Only time will tell her true intentions. I say give it more time and just enjoy the conversation.
